a new home by the sea

Ocean Promenade, Manly
Coming Soon

the beach always had a house

For more than a hundred years, people have come up off the sand at North Steyne and in through these doors. They still do.

A restaurant and bar with the beach at the front door, on the promenade at North Steyne. The room is walnut, terrazzo and brass, and every table turns towards the water.

Come for a long lunch, stay for the last of the light, or take a seat by the window as the promenade lights up. Bring the whole table, or just yourself. However you arrive, sandy feet or dressed for dinner, you'll feel at home with the sea just past the glass.

Good produce, cooked simply

Our menu follows the seasons and the coastline it sits on. We use good produce, much of it from close to home, cooked simply and with care, so the flavours stay clean and honest.

Breakfast is small plates you build your own way. Lunch is made for sharing. Dinner comes out as the promenade lamps come on. Whatever the hour, the idea is the same: food that tastes like it belongs by the sea.

To drink, there's a wine list chosen to suit the food and the view, along with something cold for a warm afternoon.

Come as you are. Stay a while.
